About this Course
We provide reach stacker or container handler training services, operator certificates, and licenses. Reach stacker means a powered reach stacker that incorporates an attachment for lifting and lowering a shipping container. The Reach Stacker Licence Course is suitable for personnel working within transport and stevedoring industries who wish to operate a reach stacker as part of their job. Whilst NON unit standard, this course is based on industry and international best practice.
Course Prerequisites
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are compulsory reach stacker training requirements for safety purposes.
Minimum class 2 licence and F endorsement required.
An old copy of the reach stacker license and certificate of competence is required for the license renewal or refresher course.

As a result of successful completion of the training & tests, delegates will receive full certification.
On completion of the course, you will be familiar with the basic skill requirements and job safety knowledge required for safe and effective operation of Reach Stacker Trucks. The course includes machine familiarisation, controls, daily checks, refuelling and battery procedures, steering, load weight assessment and handling, stacking, vehicle loading and unloading and much more.
